Diving with sharks is guaranteed to make most people think you're either very brave or rather stupid. After all, these are marine killing machines. But sharks are also beautiful, fascinating creatures, and if you've got the bottle, there is no experience like diving with them. Your experience will start with some scuba training, which will take between one and two hours, including a full briefing on scuba equipment and techniques and a practice session in a swimming pool. Then it's time for your half-hour dive in the aquarium. Shark species will vary between venues, but you might be swimming with sand tiger sharks (which swim with their mouths open, so you can see their teeth - yikes!), lemon sharks, angel sharks or nurse sharks. There will also be other big fish, such as stingrays and conger eels, and shoals of smaller species.
