Flower Market Distressed signThis vintage style painted flower market wooden sign titled Fresh from the Garden is part of a series inspired by childhood summers at my Grandparent’s lakeside home.The sign has hand painted with delicate pink rosebuds, daisies and blossoms on a cream distressed background, and will bring a sense of summer into your home, year round. Measuring approximately 44 by 11 cm, and 1 cm thick, this sign is painted with acrylic paints and finished with a matt finish acrylic interior varnish. It has a hook on the back for hanging. It is important to remember that sun, wind and water can cause wood to warp, split and rot, and the paint to fade, crackle and peel, despite varnishing. For use outdoors in a protected position (covered porch or veranda), select the outdoor satin varnish and wax option, but keep in mind that this will alter the original finish and therefore the sign cannot be returned. |
