Sharrow Bay Sticky Toffee Pudding

Sharrow Bay Sticky Toffee Pudding

Description: The Sharrow Bay Hotel, here in the Lake District, is renowned as the home of sticky toffee pudding... and it is said that their sweet, sticky sponge is ‘still the finest you will find anywhere in the world’. Francis Coulson’s original, secret recipe is the stuff of culinary legend, and now you can enjoy this unbelievably good pudding in your own home. Laden with chopped dates, soft dark sugar, butter and free-range eggs, all you have to do is heat up the pud in your microwave; warm the toffee sauce base in a saucepan with some fresh double cream; then serve with lashings of cream or ice cream.
