Early in the mornings, grapes for this wine are harvested by hand, in small baskets. The wine itself is made in very small quantities, and aged for a time in French oak barrels, giving it the crisp, fresh acidity which teams so well with appetisers or seafood. Bright and attractive light yellow, it’s an easy-drinking, medium-bodied white, with notes of mandarin, combined with subtle sweet spices such as vanilla, cinnamon and clove, originating in the oak. Pleasant and delicately sweet on the palate, it exudes pineapple flavours, followed by a tangy citrus crispness on the finish.This is a medium white wine. |
